I was brought up in a Christian family, which in many ways was a blessing but also difficult. Because of what I’d heard from the Bible, I knew I had to seek forgiveness for all my sin and that Jesus had to reign in my life.
However, this was difficult going through school, and it wasn’t until age 17 that I attended a church (where I currently attend) where I saw people living passionately for Jesus…Since going to that church, building friendships and being able to serve God there God has really set my faith on fire.
About two years ago, a friend studying in USA introduced me to Mark Driscoll and Mars Hill Church. I have been truly blessed by this church even though I live thousands of miles away. The depth and truth in the teaching that comes from this ministry is outstanding, and it is that truth that changes lives.
I subscribe to the podcast and am going through the current series on 1 and 2 Peter, which I am absolutely loving. I’ve been able to introduce the ministry to other young guys in our church, and they are loving it too.
I’ve been blessed mightily by what your doing, so keep doing what your doing. I pray that you guys meet your dreams and more people come to know Jesus and that those who do will go deeper in their walk with him! Praise God for all he does!
