The Joy of Baptizing My Son Caleb

“C” and “C-bub” both refer to my 8-year-old firstborn little buddy Caleb. Yesterday was a day I’ll never forget; I had the joy and privilege of baptizing him.

I could share a lot about why this was so special, but probably the most amazing thing to me was God’s grace in allowing me and my son to meet Jesus in the same church, Mars Hill. I met Jesus twelve years ago, and I was baptized a year later. Caleb was born three years after that.

I’m thankful my family tree has been changed forever by Jesus, and someday I hope to officiate Caleb’s wedding and watch him baptize his children, my grandchildren. Thank you Jesus for your overwhelming grace and mercy.
