Time to Wake Up — Changed By Jesus #26

I grew up in a Christian home but didn’t meet Jesus until I started attending Mars Hill about nine months ago. I was finishing work on a Sunday afternoon, and I called my brother to hang out. He said he was going to church with a couple of friends and asked me to come with him. I’ve thought about this a lot, and couldn’t tell you why I said yes–except that Jesus thought it was my time to wake up.

Three weeks later I committed my life to Jesus. Before I met Jesus, I was prideful, conceited, selfish, in sexual sin, lost and without joy. But Jesus gave me a new heart and mind and completely rejuvenated me. He gave me a thirst for the Bible and for attending and serving the church. I joined a community group shortly after and became a member here in October; and last week I started serving on the security team. Jesus has truly changed my life.
