Thank You, Driscolls
Pastor Mark Driscoll and his wife Grace have had an incredible influence on my life, and on my marriage in particular.
I first met the Driscolls when I showed up at Mars Hill back in the early days, when I was a 19-year-old non-Christian. I met Jesus, then I met Crystal. My future wife and I took the Mars Hill pre-marriage class, which met in Mark and Grace’s living room. There were only about 200 people in the church at the time, so the Driscolls counseled all of the engaged couples and Pastor Mark officiated our wedding ceremony.
To this day, Crystal and I benefit from the godly wisdom and honesty that Mark and Grace continue to share with our congregation, and now the world. With the conclusion of the Peasant Princess series, I want to thank both Pastor Mark and Grace for their willingness to be an open book, sharing what God has done in their life and in their marriage. Their love for each other is evident, and a beautiful example of Jesus’ grace, truth, and peace.
On behalf of our congregation, Crystal and I, and all who benefit from the recent sermon series: Thank you, Driscolls. Thank you for the sacrifices you have made and the risks you have taken to provide an invaluable resource that has already blessed thousands of marriages and other relationships in general. I pray that it will reach millions more, through years and even generations.
From now through the foreseeable future, Peasant Princess resources are available for free and for all:
- PeasantPrincess.com. Links to every sermon in the series, the PDF guide with an intro from Pastor Mark, the Whac-a-Fox game, an invitation to share the content with your friends, and more.
- Mars Hill Media library. In addition to all of the sermons, the media library features Peasant Princess video clips including SMS Q&A sessions from every service.
- Christian Sex Q&A. Answers to the questions that were too controversial to address from the stage.
- Porn-Again Christian. Though not specifically associated with the Peasant Princess series, this free ebook by Pastor Mark addresses many of the same issues of sexuality, sin, intimacy, etc.
UPDATE: Pastor Mark has posted a summary of all the questions posed for reflection and discussion during the Peasant Princess series.
